One of our clients is a national non-profit social services agency with local chapters throughout the country. Many of the chapters have been focused on gaining accreditation from governing agencies in order to increase the revenue stream to the organization. Accreditation requirements include establishing a strong human resources foundation and structure. One of the local chapters obtained a grant to address this requirement and requested THRD assist them in assessing and improving talent acquisition, creating up-to-date and legally compliant job descriptions, establishing sound employment policies, and developing a performance system that clearly links individual performance to the business objectives and behavioral competencies required for success within the organization. Finally, THRD worked with the organization to further improve talent acquisition and retention by training managers in effective interviewing and performance management skills. This organization ultimately received their accreditation and is positioned to significantly improve its financial status.
